I'll be having a look into how to utilise it for marketing strategy and execution, and share some (hopefully) useful learnings as I go.

Why I'm loving Perplexity

Perplexity is a game changer for marketers.

I've been needing quick summaries on companies and their competitors, and Perplexity has stepped up as my researching team and a true game changer.

Here are some reasons Perplexity is super handy: 

  • Conducts real time searches of the web

  • Citations that show you where the information has come from - so you can see if relevant or hunt down other information easily 

  •  And you can choose where it's taking information from

One watch out is it can sometimes reference old documents - but if you click on the citations you can keep an eye on this.

Is this the start of a dystopian future? 

I don't know about you, but I've been a bit intimidated by Ai. 

Sure I've had ChatGPT by my side helping me to write copy but I have really had no idea what it is all about. A great course with the Marketing Association helped me see how these tools can really amp up our marketing efforts.

It's about being proactive (a bit brave) and experimenting with these tools to see what works, and what doesn't work so well.
